Design Katie

I’m Katie, a 24-year old graphic designer, content manager, marketer, and internet troller.

I currently work for a manufacturing company in Illinois, but I am always on the lookout for freelance work and new opportunities!  I love being in the creative field- not just hands on, but also planning and coordinating marketing campaigns and strategies. In my free time, I like to be creative, spend time with friends, do anything outdoors, and play with my bulldog,  Stouffer.

 Since the internet was created (okay, not quite) I have had an online presence.  I designed and started my first website when I was 13, and I have had a space online, somewhere, ever since.  I guess you could say I’m a little addicted…

Ever since I discovered Facebook in 2006, I have been completely enamored with social media.  It’s on all my computers (yes, I have multiple..), my iPhone, iPod.. (it’s true, I’m Appleptic) I just can’t stay away from it. I always have to be “in the know,” whether it’s with what is going on in the twitterverse or the real world. Techy new things, the latest Hollywood scandal, and what my friends bought at the mall yesterday..I want to know it all. Besides, where else would I share every move my dog makes and the delicious concoction I just whipped up in the kitchen? When it comes to social media, people are always watching. And I love it.

Did I mention I’m a designer, too? I’m assuming that’s how you ended up here. Just so you know, I have a BFA with a specialization in Communication Design.
